Tia's Tips: I know for many paper crafters like myself, we have some pretty awesome stashes of supplies. As we close out the year, now is a great time to take inventory of some of the products, supplies and tools you have maybe overlooked this year. Blow the dust off and think about how they can be used in the New Year!
The Paper Shelter Card Challenge #577: All About Family
Digital Image-Santa Family Selfie
Happy Holidays friends! We have just one more card challenge before the year closes, so now is the time to get your cards that are "anything for a family member" and join this weeks challenge-All About Family!
Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize! Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-colored image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand. You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them. Good Luck!!!
There are SO many absolutely stunning images that are about family in The Paper Shelter store! It was difficult to choose, but I also LOVE picking up Collection Packs! Why get one digi, when you can get 6 for the price of 4!!! Of course you can get the "Santa Family Selfie" alone, but it is available in this "Amusing Christmas Collection".
I also love that The Paper Shelter is definitely the place to get images MADE for people who LOVE to color!!! The lines are well defined and wide enough space to get your nibs through. And TONS of details!!!
I thought the Santa Family Selfie was so cute and something my family likes to do is take crazy, zany, silly photos! So I made my card appear like a page out of the holiday photo album by utilizing photo corners!
What a blast from the past! I was digging through my draws for something completely unrelated when I found I had an envelope filled with photo corners! Gold, white and black. I vowed I would find a way to use them and I have.
For my sentiment I also dragged out my Dymo manual label maker, again for that retro-style photo album look.
A strip of holiday themed design paper for additional interest. And there is just something about Kraft paper at the holiday that I adore so I couldn't resist adhering my card to a 5.5x5.5 Kraft card base.
I think this week's challenge theme is SO fun, I really cannot wait to see what crafter's turn in!
I hope to see you card in the mix! Or tag me on Facebook @ Tia Boswell and on Instagram at: RockyMtnCraftia

Oh gosh Tia, if I were to blow the dust off the craft supplies I have waiting to be used, the neighbours would have to take cover! Your card is so cute! I love the photo corners and your Dymo tape sentiment. What a great idea!!
