Tia's Tips: The best way to layer up your card is by running with a theme! There are so many great theme packs of paper that often coordinate with stamps and dies, even when they come from different companies. It's wonderful how with a simple theme running in your head, you can let it run loose thru your products and find joy in a card.

Welcome friends! This week's challenge card was SO MUCH FUN! To say I like movies is a huge understatement! I LOVE movies!!! I'm not much of a TV viewer, but I love the weekends and going out or staying in to watch a good movie with family or friends.
As soon as I saw this image-3D Movie, I dropped it into my shopping cart in a flash!
One of my favorite aspects of The Paper Shelter Challenge is being able to surround these amazing images with any other goodies from my stash! And I have learned from the rest of the design team about really layering it up! So this week I went to it!
I started with papers from Your Next Stamp (3D-glasses/For the Boys) and 3-D dots from Recollections-Comic Heros paper pad. I layered them on a 5x7 card base.
I created layers using several dies-The filmstrip from Whimsey stamps, the storybook rectangle from Spellbinders and the ticket die and stamps from Stampin' Up.
Using a silver gelly-roll pen, I handwrote an invitation to a friend to join me for a movie!
No crazy Copic color combinations, just had fun picking colors from my life!
Thank you for dropping in and taking a closer look at this fun card! I hope you're inspired by my card and will join the Paper Shelter Blog Challenge! I'll keep an eye out for you. If you're new to my site, PLEASE scroll to the bottom of the page and follow me for more Craftia ideas and designs.
