My Card Design:
I love using a song title for my cards and scrapbook pages, music is a wonderful way to create feelings or bring up memories.
The image I used "My Elvis Teddy Bear", can be picked up in The Paper Shelter store alone or as part of The Retro Chic Collection.
Knowing our theme this week was, Sing A New Song-I immediately thought of 'Blue Suede Shoes', and started picking out my blue COPICS.
For blue jeans, I am partial to B91; B93 & B97. I went brighter this time to match with my background paper; B12, B34, B45, B97.
I was recently gifted a box of scrap papers from a crafting business and from there found the sheet music paper and plaid papers which inspired the shirt color and hair colors.
I wanted the Elvis Teddy Bear to stand out and highlighted him with some diamond embellishments. Then completed my card with a die cut music note and blue ric-rack ribbon to hide the paper seam.
