My Card Details:
Welcome back to the card challenge friends! I enjoyed my time off with family and friends. I'm also the new mama to a 10wk old Border Collie, who we named Bear. So, I'm ready to relax behind the comfort of my craft desk once again!
For many of you it's Back to School Time, which why it's I love that our challenge this week is: Back to The Books.
I picked up some really great pieces of design paper for this card. 1st The background paper is from American Crafts- . I used the sentiment card from PhotoPlay-I Love To Read.
I selected the digital image: Smart Is The New Sexy, because who doesn't want to look this good hitting the books!
I used trio blends in Neutral and Tone for all the "Blacks", they're easier to blend and get shadows when using the 5,7,9's.
I used my favorite skin tone blend:
E23, E25; E27
And selected a bright pink blouse to pull focus from the sentiment to her, by using RV34; RV17 and RV19.
